The “Hundred Syllable Mantra” of Vajrasattva is the king of mantras, representing the mantra of emptiness. This mantra should be recited at least one hundred thousand times.

The “Hundred Syllable Mantra” of Vajrasattva can purify all accumulated negative karma since beginningless time, making the practitioner’s vows as unshakeable as a diamond.

Therefore, when we recite “Hundred Syllable Mantra” of Vajrasattva, it represents a complete realization of emptiness. Sometimes, when we practice repentance, reciting the “Hundred Syllable Mantra” helps manifest the fullness of our emptiness, symbolizing completeness.

The “Hundred Syllable Mantra” of Vajrasattva is extremely important; it is the “mind” emanated by Vajrasattva himself, which is equivalent to Buddha-nature.
